United Driving School is the York County’s most experienced driving school. Since starting our business in 2002, we’ve offered one-on-one driving instruction for teens and adults in York County, Chester County, and Lancaster County. We are a local and family owned business. Creating safe drivers and saving lives is our primary goal.
United Driving School is owned and operated by professionals with years of experience and knowledge about the rules and requirements of SC. They include retired SC DMV Managers and a retired SC State Trooper. Many of our instructors are current or former State Troopers or local Law Enforcement personnel. We also have coaches, teachers and principals working as instructors. Our staff includes both male and female driving instructors. For your convenience, our driving instructors will pick up and drop off students from school or home.
Our driver education courses fulfill the SCDMV requirements for new drivers to get conditional and restricted licenses. United Driving School was one of only three driving schools in York, Chester, and Lancaster counties picked to participate in SCDMV’s Class D Third Party Pilot Program. Although this program has since opened up to all driving schools in the state, our driving instructors were some of the first in the area to give the skills and knowledge tests that are required to obtain a first time Class D beginner’s permit or driver’s license.
